I am beyond motivated to run and be active and happy when i return home. after all, when i was home in december, i had a broken foot, so very little activity was happening…
I am running a 10k on june 23rd. i am running a half marathon on july 28. i am running a full marathon on october 14th. accountability. last year i ran my first 5k and i really liked, so i am following the natural progression.
I discovered Tumblr, especially the healthy weight loss tumblrs, which is awesome. Seeing other people’s progressions has helped me so much to stay motivated.
I got a message on Facebook from a friend back home who said that she had been looking at my pictures and says I’ve lost weight since I’ve been here. that is a great feeling! even though it may not feel like it every day, i am making progress towards a healthy, happy life.
